Waalbot Wall Climbing Robot

I can see a robot like Waalbot climbing buildings washing outside walls and windows. The folks at iRobot may get inspired and augment the Roomba and Scooba with a Wallba. 🙂 Video after the jump. "A PIC microcontroller is used to control the motion of the robot and onboard power makes the system fully tetherless and wireless RF or IR control allows for teleoperation. Interactive RGB LED Light

This Interactive RGB LED Light project is an interesting idea that could be scaled up for room mood lighting. "In this project, water plays an important role as a interface to talk to the light. The lights light up in different colours depending on the different dyes added to the water."

A person was dropped from a tower and attempted to read a flashing display during the fall. Prior to falling the test subject could not read the display but was able to read the first digit perfectly during

Homer Simpson Clock Mod

Sambuchi has made a cool Homer Simpson Clock Mod. He gutted a store bought clock and stuffed it full of electronics. It can now perform a light show and allow Homer to speak through his sound system. Via: Hacked Gadgets Forum

"DARPA’s goal is to create cyborg insects that can fly at least 100 metres from their controller and land within 5 metres of a target, then
