Analog Data Logger Project

 

Having the capability of data logging is a great trouble shooting resource. Often a meter with min/max capability is connected to circuits that are suspected to act up from time to time to prove that something strange is happening. However even when you know there is an intermittent issue wouldn’t it be nice to know what exactly happened and when. With this Analog Data Logger Project you would not have to guess what happened, all you would have to do is look at the log file.

  1. You’d think they’d clean up the layout a bit before selling the kit, but no… The weirdly bent resistor below the chip pis just about to touch the bare jumper wire right below it …


  2. You build the it your self. gadgetgangster.com sells the parts to make it as a kit.
    It’s a really cool site/idea. Hobbyist submit projects/how-to and they sell the kit to make it.
    Plus the maker gets a cut in sells. I won a $250 prize already 🙂


  3. The esteemed UK sourced PICAXE micros (now 14 of them!) are indeed capable of all sorts of cost effective magic, & are super easy to program.
