  1. Uhm. This doesn’t “compromise” coke machines. Pretty much every coke machine menu can be accessed with the 4231 code, and there’s a reason that Coke hasn’t changed it for a long time: it’s harmless. You can’t actually do anything with the menu that you get, other than checking how many cokes are in the machine, how much money is in there, etc. You can’t get money from it, and you can’t get free cokes. Those options are only accessable from inside the coke machine, which, of course, you need a key to get into.

  4. That isn’t true, i’ve read something about this a wile ago.
    4231 is the standard code, but the owner can change it!, so it doesn’t always work.
    With some machines, the with a larger screen you can change the prices!, you can’t change it to 0, but you can make it 0.01 😛
    I’ve tried it on school, and it worked!!

    Sometimes you can hold the button and the cans wil roll out..!


  5. I remember there was a coke machine when i was in college that would give btw 4 and 8 cokes at a time if you held down the dr peper button…probably just a bad catch inside…


  6. As far I rememeber, it was a time when, money in, you could push VERY fast and a lot of time 2 differents button, each given the can it was designed. Doesn’t work on recent machines but some old ones are always available.

    and it worked but it was showing only 4 options “Error”-“Cash”-“return”-“sale”. i tried 4 and it shows the same options.
    now how can i hack to get cheap coke??….

    You have to get on the inside of the machine to change the price. That requires a key
    . Trust me, if it was in any way possible to change the price, the Coca Cola company
    would be out a lot of money right now. More info on the exact model of machine you
    claim can give out reduced price Cokes.

  19. At my old High School only about 5 people, i knew em all, knew how to get free cokes from the machine. We just held down the selection that someone had just bought and 1-2 cokes would come rolling out. Sometimes you would have to press it repetedly.

  26. I own vending machines… All that screen is describing is the total sales on the machine, you can even scroll through to see how many each line item sold. You cannot get a free soda or screw the programming!

    Press 4231
    Press 2
    Press 4
    Press 4 (again)
    Press 4 (again)
    Press 2
    Press 3
    Press 2 (again)
    Use 1 to increase price, 2 to decrease price
    Press 4
    Press 4 (again)
    Press 4 (again)
    Press 4 (again)
    Press the coin return to put the machine back in NOCP (Normal Operating Control Process)

    It can be simplier than all this hackin’.
    mayb u might know these neodymium magnets.
    These magnets can be so strong that u might be able to activate
    the relays in the cola-machine. So it is possible to manipulate the
    relay which operates a slot where a can is provided.
    mayb it can be possible to activate the contact(s) in the
    coin-slot to “tell” the machine that a coin was inserted which is
    then actually not the case…

    Electronic and esp. electromechanic circuits and components can
    be manipulated in sometimes very easy ways.

    @home i can persuade my microwave oven to operate with an open
    door
    by manipulating the relevant relay with that kind of magnet
    even thru the ferrous metal case.

  43. social engeneering is much more efficient and effective. tell the store owner that you put in the correct amount of money, you heard some noises inside, but nothing came up. he will put in a code for a free coke. if you can, try to look at the code and remember it.

    however if you just want to hack, press 4231 and 35 to change the price.
