I was just wondering how hard it might be and how to encourage comments
about some device exactly like this to run thru my ventilation ductwork
to check it out for a possible rat! A cheap device should be great
for anyone who has a need, such as folks that do duct cleaning. I’m going to
pursue the idea now that a ready-made and inexpensive tool is available.
hey, as an avid airsofter, exposing myself completely around corners or over trenches usually ends up with me getting tagged out. since “gun” hits do not count as a kill, i have purchased one of these spy cars with hopes to rip off the wireless camera and attatch it to my gun (sig 552). since this thing runs off of AA batteries, i have chosen THIS over 12v wireless backup cameras. the black and white screen and resolution is acceptable for CQB work and the IR nightvision is decent enough to work with. what i want is some help excising the car’s wireless camera components AND equipping the power source to it,
I am very interested in the camera element. They must have done something tricky
because they cannot be using NTSC transmission given the price of the toy. Do you have any
insight as to how the camera works?
The Transmitter / receiver is a standard 2.4GHz wireless video link, cost about$20USD in qty from Taiwan, check out Lawmate.com / Anaposi(if they still exist) – Camera is a cheap B&W CMOS camera with IR LEDs for illumination, they are probably making the whole car for $50 packaged. The neat thing in this device is the monochrome LCD HMD (head mounted display) with the receiver. Like a camcorder viewfinder. The LCD and backlight is made by Kopin..
Second thoughts: when we do a test drive of these things I’d like to see how well they handle rougher terrain, across a lawn with long grass and bumps and a hose and maybe over a brick, mulch — to see how versatile they are. Thanks again.
men im a mexican student, and my engliish isent berry good but since I saw this I was like , damm I nedd to buy one, but mi fathers bitday was in tose days, maby it was destini but, I went with a friend to a place were they sell amerian stufs loke toys, and I saw the car for only 10Dll the problem, it dirent have the LCD, since im in electronic I want to make it to see it in a normall tv
do any body nows if it is posible that usin the vss and the video outs from the jack port in the control its posible to past it to a RCA cable for video? im going to buy a cable and try to make it
triying to conect it like te ipod video, the only tink that worries me, the video signal, and if I can use that vss .

still and Idea but usefull if I manage to maque it 😛
According to http://jakeofalltrades.wordpress.com/2007/09/30/25-head-mounted-display/ the camera and display are PAL. The display however has a resistor that when removed sets it to NTSC mode, and with a little re-wiring of the video plug can accept any NTSC input. Funny I thought the same thing about using it for Airsoft even though I’ve never played.

Damn, I think whoever shot this video may be either retarded or 12.
