PC Pit Stop has made a standard laptop battery catch on fire. The fire is quite a bit larger than I would have expected.

Chemical, electrical and metal fire.. thats a nice combo to have raging at the office.
What would happens if the sprinklers are activated and this puddle of fire got sprayed with water? I remember the science-class expiriment with Litium in water very well (big boom and very violent burn).

Well, of COURSE the battery exploded. Any laptop
would pop its cork if it too were sitting on top
of an electric pancake griddle.
