Congratulation to Matthew and Joel who won last week. There will also be two winners this week.

Giveaway item 1 is a laser pointer pen with a built in 256MB USB drive.
Giveaway item 2 is a USB SD card reader.

This contest will run for this weekend only (April 27 – 29, 2007) . To enter, identify the item pictured above and give an example of what can be done with it. Please do not give the answer in the comments.

 

Send an email to contest @ hackedgadgets.com with “Name the Thing” as the subject consisting of:
* The name of the item in the above picture
* An example of what the item pictured above can be used for

The winners will be chosen at random from all of the correct entries.

The picture is a RFID tag, it can be used for everything from security tags on items in a store to inventory control.

    I can’t wait for my prize to arrive. We were only discussing the RFID tag a week before I noticed the competition.
