“This is the game used in the Nintendo World Championships II also known as the PowerFest ’94. This competition cart is one of a kind and is the only one known to still exist. Only around 32 were made and they were all given back to Nintendo after the competition and reused for parts. Only this one survived that process.”

  1. Though interesting, not really something I would spend 15$ on let alone almost half a mill. Dont get me wrong. I love the old snes games just not… that much…

  2. Its not about it being an old NES game, its the ONLY one like that out. Having that in your collection of gaming memorabilia puts you at the top of the collectors chart.

  3. Some one rip it

  4. this is retarded.

  5. That is a beautiful beautiful thing, and it belongs in a public place so everyone from everywhere may have a chance to view it.

Or the collector could set up their own PowerFest Revisited tournament. Whoever can afford that could afford to throw a decent gig.

  6. I will say that skazz could be right, I would think it more sensible for a musem to pay that much for this Snes cart but still not so cool for a regular joe shmoe. Although not everyone has a half mill just chilling for this kinda stuff either so if ya have the money spend it on what makes ya happy.
