Gilbondfac has put together a good collection of interesting experiments. This one that demonstrates some great high voltage discharge results is fun to watch. I hope he was wearing eye glasses and a hard hat. 🙂

I have a nearly 3 times bigger cap bank, that stores 880Joules.Mainly used in a coilgun that shoots trough thiner sheet metal. And for fun i did try shorting its output with a piece of wire. It ended up a big boom and sparks flying all over the room and the wire gone.I hate that i lost pictures of it.
