I remember growing up with a flip clock on the bed side table. It was similar to the one pictured above except that it was encased in a stylish simulated wood-grained plastic box. Jeri from Fat Man and Circuit Girl took the flip mechanism and hacked it into a wrist watch. Now that is a time piece that any true geek can love!

I like the concept, but the end result is definitely a bit impractical. Still, I like it. I wonder if a company ever made a much smaller version. As for now, you won’t ever see that thing on my wrist!

Oh my gosh, that’s the most absurd looking thing I’ve ever seen (made me laugh). The geek value is way off the scale, and definitely kudos for a job well done. I love it, but I agree with Nature, no practicality in it at all.
