Name the Thing Contest – 178

The winners of all the previous contests have been announced and the items have all been added to the old contest pages. The contest this week will be a bit different, you still need to name the thing but the winner will be the first one to correctly identify the item above in the comments. Images of the item will be added above from time to time until someone guesses it. Each new image will provide a bit more information about what it could be.  The prize this week is a cable tester which will make sure your home made cables are working correctly. This contest will run for one week (July 2 – 8, 2011). Ending time is based on central standard time. To enter, identify the item pictured above.

You can have one guess per new image that is added, if you have more than one guess per image revealed the additional guesses will not be considered. The first person to guess the item is the winner.
