If you are in the market for a Logic Analyzer the DSLogic might fit the bill. At time of writing it is fully funded and you can get the early backer board for $49 (there are still 13 left). The next step up is $40 more and gets you the test clips and a USB cable, if you don’t mind making some test leads yourself you can save some cash.
