Paul Wilhelm

Paul made his first electronical experiences at the age of 10 when his father bought him an electronics kit.
He instantly was fascinated by the magic of electronic circuits!

In 2001 he discovered computer programming and he began coding in QBASIC, later he also learned assembler, C, Delphi and PHP.
In 2004 he also won a programming competition with his own little jump’n’run game.

He created his own website the same year, which at first was just meant to be for computer programming related topics, but soon his own electronic projects were added.

You can check it out at: http://mosfetkiller.de
(ATM it’s only availiable in German, but Paul is going to translate the whole website in some time.)

In 2005 Paul began to experiment with high voltage and successfully built some tesla coils and other hv devices.

At the moment his interest is mainly focused on digital projects, mainly using AVRs.

Paul’s other great interest is music. He began playing the guitar in 2004 and he plays it quite well in a local progressive rock band.
He loves lightning fast soloing and loud, heavy music. 😉

Currently, Paul is a high school student. He’ll finish school in 2009.

Insane Coffee Machine

Most people would just buy a regular coffee machine when they need one. But that’s just way too easy for this German tinkerer. He completely built his own coffee machine from scratch: Although the website is in German, there is a very impressing video and many pictures documenting the whole construction phase. Be sure to also check out his other projects!
