The prize this week is a travel adapter so that you can keep all of your gadgets working even when you are far away from home.

This contest will run for this weekend only (October 13 – 14, 2007) . Ending time is based on central standard time. To enter, identify the item pictured above and give an example of what can be done with it. Please do not give the answer in the comments.

* An example of what the item pictured above can be used for

  5. Mike is right. It’s Mary’s little lamb chop tenderizer apparatus machine cylinder. Invented in 1774.

  8. oddly, the ‘winning’ answer is not actually correct. It leaves out the official name which includes amberol
    so much for exactitudedness.
