Flexible-Jointed Robot – Amazing Stability

 

This Flexible-Jointed Robot has amazing stability. I could see this thing walking down a battle field or working in a construction site stepping over piles of debris.

That is why researchers in Japan have developed software that allows a life-size humanoid robot to stay on its feet no matter where on its body it is pushed. Theirs is the first full-size humanoid to show such steadiness – others of similar size inevitably topple over when nudged in the right spot.”

  1. Odd. Seeing the researcher kicking and pushing the robot made me feel rather sorry for it.
    Clearly, a psychological effect of its humanoid form.

    hacking sopose to be fun but building and programiing that robot
    i do not think the workers had any fun
