If your stock alternator in your vehicle can’t supply all the power you need you can install a larger after market model. Another option would be to install five more!

There is no point to this! First, what will they have that requires that much power. Secondly, the more stuff you attach to the motor, the less efficent the car is, unless they are powering an electric motor with them which is unlikely.

Hi Nightmare,
LOL. It has no point, that is what makes it so much fun!! 🙂

@Project_Nightmare:
There is just tons of uses for that much power…
That rig could make 80 volts @ 1250 amps.. as a general guess.. units like that will make 12-16 volts at 250 amps each
It could be a SPL or SQL sound comp vehicle…
It could be running a welder… I’ve seen that several times…
It could be used as a mobile generator for tools and light on a work truck…

Elepski,
You cannot add both volts and watts to get total volts and watts. It just doesn’t work that way.

you can add volts and watt. You can not add volts and amps. watts are the product of volts and amps, so if you add a second alternator you can get double the volts and double the watts, however the amps remain the same.
This could be used to charge his battery pack in a home built hybrid while he is using gas power.
