  1. by the voice of the engine am getting that it has lats of power which is not used.
i would recommend to change transmition to get more speed and less power or simple cut out your fuel so it used more air and less fuel
    sorry for bad English

  2. I had a single engine gas rc truck back in the day and I have to say the video left me rather unimpressed with the performance. I guess it didn’t really look like he opened it up all the way for long, but I have to form my opinion on what I see.

  3. cool. Timing is not yet right.
    IDK what to say.
How about that V-12 rc car engine.
or the engine that puts out 10 bhp per 2 lbs

  4. Sounds like the clutches were slipping too much to me. I admit it has been a while since I last raced it, but an old T-Max 2.5 seems to have more pep.

  5. Just like 90% of most big, jacked-up 4WD trucks, it’s only used for posing while it drives up and down the street trying to impress onlookers 😉

As someone who owned gas-powered RC cars in the past, I’m also not that impressed with this video. The truck probably has loads of power, but the video just doesn’t show it being put to any use, just like a mall cruiser.

  6. That is one ear-bleeding video.

  7. I wonder can the trucked tow other rc cars when they breakdown during a race :)) looks like triple A of RC cars heh

  8. I built this, and it was the first run. The rear shaft broke, thats why it spins the front tires. The clutches don’t slip, I just wasn’t laying into it, first run, still breaking parts. The truck was actually built to win a bet. Yes its a show truck, whether or not you see a need for it, thats what its for. This was an amateur video that I had never planned to publish. It makes 8hp and weighs 22 lbs. I guess you can’t please everyone, people would rather bash something than appreciate it. My normal response to the critics is, “Show me the 4 page write up that your truck got in RC Car Action mag”. Enough said.
