The Verbalizer - Hardware that uses Google's Voice Search for Desktop

After I upgraded my Android phone I was pleased to see the new Google Voice Search options. It actually works quite well. The guys over at Breakfast had some great fun making The Verbalizer which allows physical world control over the Google Voice Search. Via: Make “Out of the box, the Verbalizer connects wirelessly to your computer via Bluetooth and when triggered, opens google.com in a new tab and activates

DIY TIX Clock

If you haven’t seen a TIX clock before you can see (or purchase) one from Think Geek. They are very cool looking, and in my opinion. I first saw them being used by Chris Pirillo. What is better than buying a TIX clock would be to make your own, that is exactly what Guido Seevens from Gweeds.net did. He documented the DIY TIX Clock build here and provided all of

Android controlled Labyrinth

We have featured Labyrinth game hacks in the past but this Android Labyrinth Game is the biggest one I have ever seen. The game is controlled by a person tilting an Android tablet which directly controls the movement of the huge game board. The ball appears to be a bowling ball and by the looks of it the game is actually quite hard to master. I wonder where this game

There are lots of cool instruments that can be played but normally you are limited to enjoying one at a time. Patrick Flanagan has that concept licked with his Jazari Musical Instrument. He is able to control an entire room full of instruments by creating loops on them using his unusual looking hand interface. It uses accelerometers to detect the position of his hand and adjusts the instruments sound accordingly.
