Engadget has a article about a poorly designed mouse. Well it isn’t all that bad if you don’t click that often, others would like carpal tunnel so they can take some time off.
“There’s at least one manufacturer at Computex this year who’s never heard about the concept of not fixing something that ain’t broken, as evidenced by the atrociously-designed mouse you see pictured above, which actually repositions the left- and right-click buttons to an almost unreachable spot in order to make room for the same media controls already accessible on-screen, on your keyboard, or from your remote. We’re not gonna harsh on this ridiculous product too much, though, for fear of sounding stupid on the off-chance that its initially-questionable design takes off just like the Wii-mote’s did.”

This mouse would make sense if it’s a hand-held mouse (not a ‘push it about your desk’ type mouse). It seems that your THUMB would rest on the round thing at the back – seems to look like a PS2 control knob, then the placement of the left and right click would make sense. The thumb would drive all the buttons on top, scroll wheel etc… and the middle and index fingers drive the buttons at the front… I think it’s neat. I do presentations from time to time and would kill for a mouse like this 🙂 but.. if how ever it’s a push type mouse, then it would suck ass.
