I belive this is just a stun-gun that happens to be in the form of a drill. Meaning, i think he (i assume it’s a he) took out the motor and replaced it with a coil to get the volts up in to the thousand/million range.
A stun-gun is really a very simple device: You have the batteries, which provide the initial source of power. They then go through a transformer to get into the 1KV range (usually an audio-transformer re-wound) and then it goes through a secondary coil to get it into the 1MV range. From that transformer, you have the terminals which are where all the pretty sparks get made, and the end in which you apply them to the person you want to zap.
I’d be interested in a circuit too, as I see broken drills all day long as garage sales. XD

Its a TV flyback and a voltage multiplyer.Its probobly a marx type multyplayer.It also probobly uses some good MOSFET transistors becuse keaping a BJT from overheatng in that small cause would be next to inposible.
I once made my own high power flyback.Well it didnt have a lot of voltage but it had a lot of curent.Melted a wire no problem.And its not a good idea to use networking cable for this.Cause the cable burned its isolation off becuse it got so hot fromn the current.
I have to get my self some high voltage capacitators to make a marx voltage multyplayer.

looks like a wimshurst mounted on the end of a drill to power it.
The drill spins the wheels that generate a high frequency static charge that discharges as soon as it’s potential is enough to bridge the gap.
Look up wimshurst on the net for a better idea how it works.
You see them in all the old frankenstein movies , useual along with the jacobs ladder.

if it is turning an actual drill into this monster while keeping parts inside, it could just have a wheel that rotates some rare earth magnets around small coils, very high count of loops with a fine fine gauge high voltage insulated wire. send it through transformer u could build a high voltage generator…..but that thing looks like its got some fucking power lmao so im guessing its just a stun gun w/e inside drill casing
(have like 6 magnets on a wheel and have few coils around the outside of wheel with magnets could get AC to make simple endless coil spikes for transformer to keep working )

Hi, I just noticed this link, I made this for a laugh, the second video shows the insides. The video camera has made it look slightly more powerful than it really is, but has not done any justice to the noise it makes!
The transistors are run in saturation (switch mode), so dissipate very little power.
The output is a “special” voltage multiplier I designed myself to allow more stages than is normally possible.
I have built several “taser” stungun devices that I have tested on my legs /arms, but I nhave not dared try this on any part of my body (yet 😛 )
