Congratulation to Ryan who was the winner last week. There will be two winners this week and again it will be something different.
Giveaway item 1 is a watch with a built in TV remote.
Giveaway item 2 is a mini camera tripod.
In Canada this is a long weekend so the contest will be running Saturday to Monday (May 19 – 21, 2007) .
To enter just follow these simple rules:
* Write a comment below about a cool hack, please include a link starting with “http://”
* Do a quick search to make sure it hasn’t been featured on Hacked Gadgets before
* Tell us what you like about the hack
* Enter a maximum of three times per contest day
Doesn’t matter if the hack is from 5 years ago or 5 minutes ago. Feel free to discuss the hacks in the comment area however a comment that doesn’t include a hack link will not be eligible to win this contest (although it will still be a valid entry for the May Comment Contest).
*** I got a few emails asking if projects are hacks. Yes, I am using the term loosely here. I should have been a bit more clear… Cool projects are definitely in, just nothing off the shelf. A great source would be sites in the DIY and Gadget Link section. ***
Good luck, I am looking forward to reading about some interesting hacks! π
The winners will be chosen at random from all of the valid entries.

Like those windows people have on their computer cases?
You know, so you can put a cold cathode in and make it
look like it was stolen from the mothership?
Why not do the same to your CRT and match your system?

I love this Fuel Consumption gauge. Not only useful in these days of soaring gas prices, but the idea of grabbing any data off your OBD-II line in your vehicle and manipulating/displaying it fills my head with ideas. Time to start on my 17″ widescreen LCD dashboard…

Just wanted to know when monday is? I mean, is it zulu, gmt, est…? It’s hard to know;) Maybe a clock on your website?
Oh and if it isn’t too late; http://folk.ntnu.no/bardlund/lighteraccelerometer.jsp
Just a few pics so far, but I’ll get on it later…

Hi Bardlund,
Good question on the actual end time. I have always been lenient with the actual cutoff to allow for all timezones to post until midnight but you are right I should pick a timezone and stick with it… I will give that some thought. π
