Triketek’s X2 Arrow three-wheeler

With the gas prices of today I think these types of vehicles are very practice. It gives you the speed and handling of a sports car with the fuel economy of a motorcycle.

“We’re seeing more and more vehicles coming to market that are completely impractical and purely for fun purposes and three-wheeler trikes fit squarely into this category. Enter the X2 Arrow, currently being shown in Frankfurt, a uniquely styled, low-profile trike that offers a driver and a passenger the wind-in-your-hair freedom and snappy handling of a motorcycle with the roll-cage safety of a sports car.”

  1. “the roll-cage safety of a sports car”…

    Three points:
    1) if you roll a car at speed, you may well die.
    2) if you roll a sports car at speed, you are even more likely to die.
    3) if you roll a trike at speed, you are more likely still to die.

Air bags? Crumble zones? ABS? Crash testing?

Please do not sell these as “safe”. Safer than a motorcycle, perhaps, but not “safe”.

Please do not twist the language to suggest something that is inherently untrue, especially when people’s lives are at stake.

  2. Well, relatively safe of course. If you really want “safe”, drive a tank!

  3. It would be safer if it was a reverse trike but still cool as is. It would be an all weather vehicle if one can get a cover for it like the Velorex. It would make it a cabin ‘scooter’ and make it an all weather vehicle.

  4. This is ugly, i think. I mean the front wheel is the worst, i dont know why is this so cool with 3wheel…

  5. I don’t know what these guys ^ are talking about, looks like pure fun to me. I think the safety of any vehicle depends upon the person who drives it more than the vehicle itself.

  6. hey guys, i don’t know if you guys are fans of the movie or not… but.. can you say “final fantasy advent children’s Fernin”????? that thing looks SWEET. btw, its the motor cycle looking thing that could drives around.
