If the cops seize your computer equipment, they take everything – monitors, speakers, printers etc. so your UPS with a hard drive isn’t going to escape it.
Your only hope would be that they didn’t plug it in or open it up.

I am sure you are right, is the FBI takes your system in I am sure they would find it. It would keep the average snoop out of your files though.
