“I just wanted to let you know that we are organizing a Cloud Robotics Hackathon that will take place from March 2nd to March 4th. The idea is to bring programmers together (whether they have robotics experience or not) and hack together robotic behaviours that use the power of cloud computing to do useful (or at least funny) things for humans.
We emphasize on the use of the most popular open tools such as ROS, Arduino, Python and (of course) MyRobots.com. The main event will take place in Montreal, but we would like to encourage teams from all over the world to participate and hack at the same time. So far, the event is sponsored by RobotShop, but we expect to get more sponsors shortly.
